Clients Served by SRC

SRC provides a scholarly, operational, and administrative base for survey-related research for numerous UC Berkeley faculty members. The Center serves as an intellectual home for our faculty affiliates.

We assist in the social research training of students on the campus by supplementing formal course offerings with opportunities for first-hand experience, a colloquium series, methodology seminars, and consultation services.

Our services are available to colleagues at other academic institutions here and abroad, usually in collaborative undertakings.

SRC extends its range of services to local, state, or federal governmental agencies, and to other organizations or individuals engaged in research operations.

For-Profit Organizations

On occasion, we undertake research on behalf of private organizations, as long as they abide by the rules of academic research, including open access to research results within a reasonable period following study completion.

As is customary among academic institutions, SRC tries to provide a base for a limited number of visiting colleagues on leave from their home institutions, whether working in collaboration with SRC faculty or on their own research.
